"To the Memory of Thomas Effery Senr of this Paryfh who was here buried the 2nd Octr 1808 Aged 75 years
Alfo Elizabeth his grand-daughter
Aged Eleven Months
Also, Lieth the Remains of Elizabeth Essery, Wife of the Above who departed this life the 8th, of June in the Year of our Lord 1812,
Aged 77 Years
Also WILLIAM ESSERY, Son of the above, who died March 24th
1835 Aged 56 years."
The reverse of the headstone reads:
"SACRED
to the memory of
JOHN ESSERY
of this town who departed this
Life April 11th 1844
Aged 70"
